Homemade Raw Ice Cream...a great recipe to do with children

This could be eaten as a pudding, but I decided to freeze it. I will post later and let you know how it tastes. I don't measure, but I will try to give estimates. The first step is to soak about a cup and a half of raw almonds overnight. The next day, peel the skin and rinse them, then put them in the Vita-Mix (kids love to help with this and they'll love to eat it). Then add some vanilla extract, again I don't measure, so just pray and add some. Add 3 large pitted dates and about 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, 2 tablespoons of soy lecithin, about a cup of frozen mango and one small orange. Add water to slightly covering, and blend on high for at least a minute. Then add four bananas, and then add a little more water if necessary, just for it to blend well. Blend till very smooth. Then pour into a freezer safe container and freeze. I ate some of this earlier without freezing it with some sprouted buckwheat. It's very sweet and filling, a nice break from salads and juicing. A few other good additions in this would have been coconut water instead of spring water as well as coconut meat. This would be a very good post-workout meal/snack/treat. Kids will love it too. It's also sweet enough that if you want to add a bunch of spirulina, it will still taste good. I will update the results later. Blessings,
